Since 2013 we have emphasized that our athletes have greater awareness of balance through their feet and their connection with the boat through the foot stretcher. Incorporating the BAT Logic system into our boats was always going to assist our athletes achieve this goal.

The performance gains in such a short period of time cannot simply be a coincidence. Bronze in 2013 and Gold in 2015 at the Australian Rowing Championships in the Schoolgirl Coxed Quadscull in the second fastest time ever recorded for the event is proof they do make a substantial difference.

Nudgee College has used BAT Logic for the last few years.

The boys find the connection with the feet to the foot plate excellent.

The ShoePlate Pro was used in our campaign this year with terrific results winning the Queensland Head of the River, the National U19 single sculls, National U19 Quad Sculls and the Schoolboy coxed Eight.

For the last five years I have had boys selected in the Australian Junior Team and on each occasion the boys have taken their BAT Logic shoes and shims with them to compete at the World Championships.

John Bowes

Junior Team & School Coach, Nudgee College

BAT Logic has become an essential part of my race and training routine and have helped me break 6 under 19 world records on the erg.

In the boat they help me to feel connected and more direct with my power application, they also give as sense of stability which brings confidence and control.

On the erg they again make me more comfortable and familiar as I’m always in the same shoes wether I’m erging or rowing. They make me feel very connected to the erg which makes me feel more direct with my leg drive right off the catch. The erg adapter made a noticeable improvement to all my erg scores from steady state to sprints!

Tom Schramko

AUS U23 member

The way they are able to engage their heel contact so much quicker with BAT Logic is a key factor in our boat.

Alie Crow

State Championship winning Head Coach, MLC

The combination of the BAT Logic Consultancy and the use of the ShoePlate Pro in the boat was a pivotal part in the setup of our National Schools and Henley winning crews. Every athlete that uses the footplate is able to get into a stronger position.

It appears almost certain that the Tokyo Olympic Games will be postponed. We would like to extend our encouragement to Rowers at all levels that have had their respective competitions and training cut short. We hope this clip of the GB Men’s four Rio Olympic win, reminds you all of the amazing things we as Rowing lovers have to look forward to once these hard times are overcome.
